Parmi les nombreux qui donnent la comédie (ou qui se donnent à eux-mêmes la comédie) de porter affection aux productions d'art, il n'est est certes que bien peu qui les ressentent si fortement que vous le faites, pour qui elles soient si essentiel aliment et qui les tienne en si haute considération. Ceux de votre sorte sont rarissimes. Ils sont pour moi d'un plus haut prix que qui que ce soit.

Among the many who play to others the comedy (or play it to themselves)  of bearing affection to art productions, there are for sure very few who feel them as intensely as you do, for whom they are such an essential nourishment and who hold them in such high consideration. Those of your kind are few and far between. They are for me dearer than anything else.
