In the nineteenth century, the central moral challenge was slavery. In the twentieth century, it was the battle against totalitarianism. We believe that in this century the paramount moral challenge will be the struggle for gender equality around the world.

Au dix-neuvième siècle, la question morale cruciale était l'esclavage. Au vingtième siècle, c'était la lutte contre le totalitarisme. Nous pensons que dans le courant de ce siècle le défi moral le plus important sera la lutte pour l'égalité des sexes dans le monde.
