Where can I do this? You can create a group and add members in your Google Admin console or Google Groups. However, only groups created in your Admin console can be used as a configuration group.

If you're creating your group in a work or school account, your email address might include a suffix, such as -user-created. For example, if your group name is training, the actual email address might be training-user-created@your_domain.

Only for communication and collaboration groups. Requires turning on Groups for Business To use your group as a configuration group, follow the steps above on this page to instead create it in the Admin console. If you create a group in Google Groups, it can't be used to configure features or services.

Another way to create a communication or collaboration group, such as an email list, is using Google Groups. There, you can also add features such as for moderated discussions or a Collaborative Inbox.

I am in the middle of transitioning several businesses into protonmail under the same account. So far, so good. However, I do not see how to create a general group email that you can add users to. For example, I need to create a sup...@business.com email and then have certain users (but not all) receive those emails.

A Microsoft 365 group is different from a contact group (formerly called a distribution list). A contact group is a set of email addresses that you can use to send an email message or meeting invitation to everyone at once. To create a contact group, see Create a contact group.

Once you enter a name, a suggested email address is provided. "Not available" means the group name is already in use and you should try a different name. Note that once you choose a group name, it cannot be changed.

A Professional Learning Community (PLC) group is a type of Microsoft 365 Group that provides a shared space for educators to use for collaboration. PLCs are available in the Microsoft 365 Education plans.

A PLC is very similar to other Microsoft 365 groups. It comes with a shared mailbox and calendar, shared document library, and OneNote Notebook. The notebook is designed for educators and includes templates and lots of resources that provide ideas and assistance.

Existing PLC groups are not affected, can be accessed from Outlook on the web as usual, and used as you have always done. This change only affects new PLC groups. To learn more on how to create PLC groups in Teams, see Create team for PLCs in Microsoft Teams

Use Email Log Search (ELS) to find and review email messages that people in your organization send and receive. You can find all messages, or search for specific messages by sender, date, or message ID. You can optionally download your ELS results to Google Sheets or .csv file.

Note: When you search by sender IP address, EL results might show a Google outbound IP address instead of the public outbound IP address for your domain. Gmail sends outgoing messages through Gmail servers, which use Google outbound IP addresses.

Contact groups show up in your list of contacts, along with individual people. You can tell the difference by the icons that appear to the left of the names in List view. The card icon is for individual contacts and the people icon is for contact groups.

The maximum number of names that you can include in a distribution list depends on the size of the contact files (for each contact) themselves. There are no hard and fast rules but in general, a distribution list can contain between 50-70 names and e-mail addresses. A maximum number of e-mail addresses, with minimum contact file size, is approximately 125, and this can include other distribution lists.

Use distribution lists (sometimes called distribution groups) when you want to send email to group of people without having to type each individual recipient's name. Distribution lists can be organized by a particular discussion subject (such as "Marketing") or by users who share common work that requires them to communicate frequently. They also provide a way for you to automatically forward email to multiple email addresses.

On the Edit settings page, create a group email address for your new group, and choose whether you want people outside your organization to send email to the group. Select Next.

The company provides mail collection and delivery services throughout the UK. Letters and parcels are deposited in post or parcel boxes, or are collected in bulk from businesses and transported to Royal Mail sorting offices. Royal Mail owns and maintains the UK's distinctive red pillar boxes, first introduced in 1852 (12 years after the first postage stamp, Penny Black), and other post boxes, many of which bear the royal cypher of the reigning monarch at the date of manufacture.[3] Deliveries are made at least once every day except Sundays and bank holidays at uniform charges for all UK destinations. Royal Mail generally aims to make first class deliveries the next business day throughout the nation.[4]

In 1653, Parliament set aside all previous grants for postal services, and contracts were let for the inland and foreign mails to John Manley.[13] Manley was given a monopoly on the postal service, which was effectively enforced by Protector Oliver Cromwell's government, and thanks to the improvements necessitated by the war, Manley ran a much-improved Post Office service. In July 1655, the Post Office was put under the direct government control of John Thurloe, a Secretary of State, best known to history as Cromwell's spymaster general. Previous English governments had tried to prevent conspirators from communicating; Thurloe preferred to deliver their post having surreptitiously read it. As the Protectorate claimed to govern all of Great Britain and Ireland under one unified government, on 9 June 1657 the Second Protectorate Parliament (which included Scottish and Irish MPs) passed the "Act for settling the Postage in England, Scotland and Ireland", which created one monopoly Post Office for the whole territory of the Commonwealth.[14][15] The first Postmaster General was appointed in 1661, and a seal was first fixed to the mail.[16]
