Joseph Mouzon, Executive Director

As Executive Director of Groundspring, Joseph is responsible for the overall leadership of Groundspring. He will oversee all sales, product and business development, operations, strategic planning, and financial management activities. He will further develop and promote Groundspring.org's services and strive to fulfill its mission to improve the effectiveness of the nonprofit sector.

Joseph has brought extensive leadership, management, marketing and nonprofit sector experience to Groundspring, as well as a tremendous depth of knowledge in technology. Joseph has held executive leadership positions for 12 years. Before coming to Groundspring, he served the San Francisco YMCA as its marketing leader where he was known as the "great idea guy," developing innovative marketing plans, social entrepreneurship opportunities and community relation events.

Prior to the San Francisco YMCA, he was CEO and co-founder of the Rhythm of Life Organization (ROLO) where he co-created BAYCAT, a San Francisco based technology center. He was also CEO and co-founder of Imhotech, Inc., a digital media delivery company. At Imhotech, Mouzon successfully raised venture capital funding and developed strategic partnerships with the nation's largest media and entertainment corporations. Mouzon has also held positions with NetNoir Online as vice president of sales and marketing and Working Assets Long Distance as director of business services. He began his career in finance and operations in the banking and retail sectors.

Mouzon is a former guest lecturer at Stanford Business School, a frequent speaker at technology conferences and has acted as a technology pundit for Tech TV. He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from University of San Francisco.
