Originally,
the plan was only to slap a new tax on custom and licensed software.
But now the politicians in Springfield have added a new provision that wouldalso tax the services provided by those in the computer and software industries.

The new software tax proposal -- included in Senate Bill 750 -- will include a new sales tax on labor services for computers and software.
If this new tax passes, many Illinois employers will get hit by the tax if they pay
