Dear media reformers,

Good lessons in 'talking back to the media' can be learned from the
current successful right-wing campaigns.

The right-wing activists have a well-organized media strategy without any
significant comparable strategy by progressives. And the right-wing protests
are getting great coverage by the corporate media that they still keep
calling 'liberal'.

The organized coordinated disciplined activists are all too successful at
intimidating the media and making it seem that rightist views of government
economic decisions and healthcare are very widespread.

Their strategy is national.

Watch some news videos of Friday's, Saturday's, and other recent 'Marches
on the Media' actions. E.g.,

We can learn from such sites as

One chance for Chicagoans to develop some action plans could be our Nov 7
Media Democracy Day event in Chicago (www.chicagoprogmedia.org).
