Running Tomorrow

[Diana Owen]

Who's up for a run or a walk tomorrow?  8 a.m. Car Barn

 

As some of you may know, I broke my (other) foot while running a few days ago by stepping in a hole.  But, I am undeterred, and would love to meet the group tomorrow.  I am in a boot, but can walk while you run and we can meet up at D & D later.

I'll be there! I'm definitely interested in getting out of the house after nearly a week of working at home during this shutdown. I'm a contractor, so I can work and get paid until my work runs out -- although the work will dry up by midweek.

In my experience, if you are taking Metro get there early.  It will be packed.  I think a few years ago some of us almost missed the race.  d.

Based on previous years, if you drive and get there around 7am you will find parking easily. I'm planning to drive, but if anyone needs a ride, I can stop by the Carn Barn at 7am. 

If you want to meet before the race, there are a lot of parking spaces at the Harris Teeter in Pentagon Row. (900 Army Navy Drive, Arlington VA). We can meet there at 7:15am and walk to the start line. 

Jordan, bring your music. They are not that strict!

I plan to park in that neighborhood over by Pentagon Row, and am meeting a friend at the First Aid tent (planning ahead?!) at 7:20.  He is way faster than I am, so if anyone would like to meet me there and then run a slower pace, please join me!

Antonio -- I can still meet at 7:15 at Harris Teeter, and we can walk together to the first aid tent. I'll actually drive because there will be track work on the Red Line, so I'll have to drive part of the way anyway.
 
Is 7:15 early enough? I don't know how far the first aid tent is from Harris Teeter.

Sorry I missed you guys! I pulled up to a spot on K Street about 950 and went up Potomac. I didn't get myself together in time. I think I found where you were sitting because there was lots of powdered sugar on the table and a birthday candle on the ground. I had a grand time with the guy with the two disabled dogs.
