Hello Crisis Camp LA attendees and past participants-
Tuesday's Crisis Commons meet-up at the Formosa Cafe was great! Thanks to everyone who came out. It's exciting to bring people from many disciplines together to discuss collaborating on projects to support all of our neighbors during times of emergency. Open Data, Crowd Sourcing & Virtual Technical Support Groups offer a lot of exciting opportunities. In the coming months we will be planning a more in-depth gathering of existing communities and continue building our local Crisis Commons.
Thank you to LA Here and Now, The Noun Project, Social Media Club LA and the other groups for promoting & supporting this meet-up.
