New Personal Project... What's wrong with me?

Hello everyone...

Thought I'd reach out especially since this group is really quiet...

I thought I would start a new personal project to get me motivated and learn more Linux...  since I'm  new any help wold be nice.

I just acquired 2 refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad X131e's with AMD CPU's, 4Gb RAM, and 320Gb HD.

On one I'd like to put Debian on it and maybe a BitCoin setup for a wallet so I can learn how and what to do...

The other I'd like to put Kali on it and learn more SDR stuff.  I have a YARDstick One and Ubertooth to play with...

Right now I'm trying to install Debian on the first one and I guess the wireless network drivers aren't part of the ISO so I need to get them from Broadcomm...

Still trying to narrow down where/what drivers to download...
