CodePath Interview Prep Pilot Course

Hey Everyone!

My name is Ryan, formally a student at CCSF studying CS and now am on my last semester at SFSU! I had the oppurutunity to take part in a CodePath iOS class during Spring 2017, which was held at CCSF (Thank you Katherine). CodePath is now running an interview prep pilot program at SFSU this spring. It'd be an amazing oppurtunity to help you land an SE Internship! Heres a link to CodePath's website and below is some information about the pilot program.

Your major barrier to landing a programming role is the technical interview; CodePath is offering an Advanced Interview Prep course that prepares students to ace it!

CodePath is looking for a students who want to participate in a 4-week pilot at San Francisco State, starting in March/April. Participants would be the first to get access to this course and would play a key role in the evolution of this course for students nationwide.

Interested participants can sign-up here.

What does this entail?

• Meeting once a week on Saturdays, for 2 hours
• 10-15 hours of work per week
• Providing feedback at the end of the course on experience and suggested improvements

Who should participate?

• Students, mostly sohphomores or juniors
• Pursuing computer science majors and internships
• Passionate about programming and education
• Want to sharpen their coding interview skills & expand their network

Thanks for the info, Ryan! We will be offering a new Technical
Interview Prep course in Fall 2018: CS 197P. It's a 1-unit course to
be taught by Man Tam (cc'd here), probably on Wednesday nights from
11/2/18–12/14/18. So some of you may be interested in that as well.
And hopefully Man Tam can get some ideas from this CodePath course!
