I'm writing from Powerhouse, an incubator working at the intersection of software and renewable energy. I wanted to share an opportunity that I think would be of particular interest to City College CS students.

We're hosting our annual SunCode clean energy hackathon on May 17-18 in Oakland at the Citizen Engagement Laboratory. SunCode brings together over 150 software developers, designers, and clean energy professionals to build working demos with a chance to win 10K in cash prizes. Powerhouse provides plenty of food and networking opportunities throughout the weekend.

We'd love to have CCSF students represented at the event. Folks can come as individuals or form teams. Would you be willing to share with your department?
