Sounds like a good hackathon here in SF, beginner-friendly!

Dear Craig,

Please help us spread the word amongst CCSF's community.

We'd love to see CCSF's students solve problems for a local cause: San Francisco Homelessness.

Participating will provide them new experiences that will strengthen their confidence, it will inspire them, they will be able to meet new people and make new connections while staying at home. Also, they will not leave empty-handed! The project they work on can be added to their portfolio.

If you want to share this opportunity within your community, I am attaching an image for reference and a copy below:

Join Girls in Tech on Saturday and Sunday, November 2-3, for our annual social innovation hackathon, Hacking for Humanity. You will be ideating, building, and finally pitching a solution to solve a local Bay Area issue by the end of the event. You'll get hands-on experience with participating in a hackathon, make friends, network, and be a part of a community.

What is Hacking for Humanity?

Hacking for Humanity is a 2-day code-a-thon where developers, designers, scientists, students, entrepreneurs, educators, and mentors work together to build solutions that solve social problems. Our hackathon is beginner-friendly and offers something for everyone: no coding experience required! This is an opportunity for you to come together with others to give back and create something for your community. When communities work together, they don’t just do good —they become a force for global change.

We welcome everyone to come join us. Don't forget to bring your co-workers, friends, and kids!

Get tickets!

-----------

Thank you so much, it means a lot your help and not only your support towards the hackathon but also to our cause: eliminating the gender gap in Tech!

Warmly,
