Hello Senior Parents,
It is my understanding that Wake County is short on people to work at the polls on election day. There is an opportunity for students to be election assistants. Students attend training, help set up the night before, and work all day on the 3rd. They get paid $214 for their time.
I would like for Abbie to participate in this as I think it is excellent exposure to the election process, and as she will be voting soon, will help to make her an involved citizen.
