Hello Mr. Warila!

Renee L'Abbe here from the Biotech class about 5 years ago.  This program got me in the door at ThermoFisher working at Amgen as a calibration specialist.  Then I started to work for Perkin Elmer at Merck in Boston as an asset onboarder for capital assets into the labs.  I've been working from home the last few weeks and finally have some time.

I can't say enough about the quality of education I got from your classes.  I forsee a great need for lab technicians to work in manufacturing for PPE as well as biotech.  I think "the management" discovered the weak link in the supply chain at last and will bring at least some portion of manufacturing back to the US.

Anyway, I hope you are safe and healthy!

Regards,
Renee L'Abbe

Hi Renee, great to hear from you and that you are doing so well!  I agree, the outsourcing trend of the last decade plus hopefully is coming to an end and we create more jobs for our quality workers here in the US and particularly Rhode Island!

Thanks for the comments and checking in. In the future if you don't mind I may ask that you be part of a chart to current students which could be as simple as a webinar.  Let me know if you are interested.

Take care,
Prof. Warila
