Dear Friends from CCOP, I would like to request the Filipino Choir at CCOP to come and enjoy this wonderful concert. As singers, we all enjoy singing the Bukas Palad songs. God Bless, Saint Joan of Arc 925-525-6821   BUKAS PALAD CONCERT, “ Huwag Kang Mangamba”,  Be not afraid ,  2014 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR   Bukas Palad Music Ministry will be performing at St. Joan of Arc Parish on March 29, 2014 @ 7:30 PM. The “Bukas Palad” (translation in Tagalog: “open palm”) has been a proponent of original Filipino liturgical and inspirational music. The group borrows its name from the title track of its album, “ Panalangin sa Pagiging Bukas Palad”, a translation of Ignatius of Loyola’s Prayer of Generosity.  The concert will have Tagalog songs as well as in English.   The group was founded by Father Manoling Francisco, SJ. They have recorded 18 albums and have performed in hundreds of concerts across the Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, Canada and the United States. Bukas Palad 2014  is dedicated to Filipinos that endured the many tragedies and continues to experience. It is their hope that their concerts in North America will help Filipino communities be one with our nation as they face the long road of healing and rebuilding with the love, hope, joy and generosity of Christ.   Proceeds from this concert will go towards the Simbang Gabi and Music Ministry.   To purchase ticket, please call Marietta Ocampo @ 925-525-6821.  Tickets are also available at the parish office or pay via PayPal by going to the internet http://www.sjasr.org
