Hello fellow music ministers,
Reminder: There is NO choir practice Monday 11/17 due to the Mass of Remembrance, which is to be held at St. Elizabeth Seton at the same time (7:00 PM). Please pass this along to others.
We will resume our regular choir practice the following Monday, 11/24, at St. Augustine church.
In the meantime, I urge everyone to continue practicing on their own---doing our warm-up exercises and vocalizations a few minutes every day. Or even simply humming along to a song on the radio will help develop resonance and intonation. It is fun to do while driving, taking a shower, cooking, ironing, walking, or even praying! Have you tried saying the "Our Father" in one breath? Working out our core muscles by walking or dancing Zumba helps maintain proper breath support that is essential to singing, and more importantly, builds up our appetite for our Simbang-Gabi breakfast.
When I finish updating our song book, I will email it out.
