Sto. Niño Mass choir practice

Hello fellow music ministers,

 

I hope you are enjoying the Christmas season.  I wish you all a prosperous New Year ahead. 

 

Just a reminder that Mark has scheduled choir practices for today, Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, and next Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, in preparation for the Annual Sto. Niño celebration on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, 12 noon, at the St. Augustine’s church parish hall.  Practice starts at 7pm in the evening at St. Augustine’s church.

 

Hosted by the Tri-Valley Sto. Niño Prayer Group, the Sto. Niño celebration starts with a noontime Mass, followed by a procession and a party at the parish hall.  The CCOP Filipino choir has been invited to sing at the Mass, together with a rondalla band and Cyndi Guerzon.  Pls. contact Mark for more details.

 

Unfortunately, I will have to be excused, because my family and I are planning to go out of town on the weekend of the 6^th, to spend some time with family and friends.

Hi Tony,

  Wishing you and your lovely family a blessed, peaceful, healthy, prosperous and a happy New year.  We will not be around on the 21st due to our niece's wedding that day.  So there is no need for me to come join you in the practices for the Santo Nino.

We missed you all at the Violin Concert yesterday by the 17 years old Miranda Liu.  Wished you and your family was there to witness the artist's technical skills and her awesome and inspiring artistic execution.  Her repertoire was unbelievable!    Her last piece especially of "J. Massenet",

"Meditation" from the Opera "Thais" brought tears from everyone who attended..about 300 parishioners including Fr Paul!   I'll share her video with you sometime.  Good day.
