See firsthand how Illinoisans are having their air and water polluted by coal, and what you can do to help stop it! And see how renewable alternatives to coal are taking shape. Join Students for Environmental Concerns in visiting power plants, mines, coal ash dumps, and a wind turbine, and biofuel farm!

Note also that Saturday Oct 1st is the date of a residential energy talk by Ty Newell (10am First Pres Urbana), and also the local solar tours (which I'll be showing the 09 Solar Decathlon house).  

Good idea for a tour though.  If anyone goes, let me know how it was.
