Thank you for setting up the call with me yesterday. It was amazing to catch up with you and all of the information you provided is extremely helpful. As mentioned in our convo, here is a little blurb about what is happening next week if you’d like to forward this email to others:

 

Invenergy is a leading privately held, global developer and operator of sustainable energy solutions.

 

I wanted to pass along information and share an exciting opportunity that I think that the Champaign-Urbana community would be interested in! We believe this would be a great opportunity for individuals to learn about a critical step in the development of renewable projects and get a chance to meet people in the industry.  

 

Right now, we are working on a wind energy project based in Lincoln, IL. Our next step is attending a public zoning hearing with the local Zoning Board of Appeals. This meeting is open to the public, at the following location and at the following times: 

 

Mt. Pulaski Grade School Gymnasium (119 North Garden Street) 

Mt. Pulaski, IL 62548 

·         Tuesday, October 25^th – 7:30 to 10:00 PM CST 

·         Wednesday, October 26^th – 7:30 to 10:00 PM CST 

 

If interested, I’m more than happy to share more details. Primarily, I would love to expand on the following opportunities this event will bring to students/faculty/staff/community members: 

·         To learn about renewable development. 

·         To learn about renewable energy. 

·         To learn about what it takes to get a $400M+ clean energy infrastructure up and running. 

·         To support local clean energy projects.
