Subject: AgHoc Zoom New Time Tuesday Dec 14 7PM
Good afternoon,
Based on the survey and some phone calls, we are going to try a new time for the AgHoc Discussion group. Tuesday evenings at 7PM. We will plan to continue meeting four times annually.
The first one will be on Dec 14 and feature a discussion led by Dr Esther Ngumbi. Esther has attended several of our discussion previously and is a strong advocate of Agriculture, Women, and Education. Esther, from Kenya, is an Assistant Professor in the Entomology and African-American Departments at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She is the founder of organizations that empower farmers and youth in Kenya, and she’s served as a mentor for entities like the Clinton Global University Initiative and President Obama’s Young Leadership Program.
