Greetings all. Hope you had a good long weekend.

WoodGreen has recently partnered with George Brown College in the Women Transitioning in Trade and Employment Project of the college. This is academic upgrading and career exploration training (funded by the Ontario Women’s Directorate) that is designed to make a variety of technician and skilled trades accessible to women, transwomen and two-spirited women who are looking for safety, support, and independence. Please review the attached documents for detail description and FAQs on the project.

WoodGreen has committed to work with the college to recruit and provide pre and post employment support to the program participants. In Next 3 months information sessions will take place in different locations starting with the first one on April 10th (see attached flyer). Please promote the opportunity to the clients and let me know how the name of the clients that you referred to the project so I can share the names with George Brown.
