BSCI initial MEETING

Saturday 10:00 AM at the Pancake House and Grill.

This is where we set the tone for the new group. Please come out and
add your .02 cents we are going to proceed through a lot of stuff 4
tests in all should be able to do it in a year or less. This meetin
will be important if you can't make it at lest make it to the CUG
meeting next WEDNESDAY June 4 we will announce the formation of the
BSCI CCNP group. So far the people below have RSVP tthe Sat meeting.

How long are the meetings going to last? i might be able to change my work time to go to work at 12:00 AM instead of 11:am. I don't know but I can try.

We were there till 11:45 and wrapped it up. But come to the CUG meeting on Wednesday. We have quite a bit of equipment and we are gathering other resources as well. Labs and books and CBT's. If everybody contributes we would have a good pool of resources.

Whats the plan?

I have the cbt nuggets bsci,bcmsn,iscw,ont;
 although the bsci & bcmsn are old ver.
the new curriculum is focused on "converged" networks.
ra & isdn dropped & emphasis on wireless & security now.

When I did these courses several years ago, I also did the wireless & fundamental security class, so I am remembering isakmp,ipsec,,crypto maps, & all that exciting stuff. I didnt quite get it the first time, so maybe this time I will.

I didnt know what I wanted to be when I grow up, then, so I was taking mcse, c++,java, html, & c# programming, & unix as well as cisco.
Now I am swaying towards cisco & linux, so I am a little more focused. Its a good thing I am not married anymore!

Does anyone have the new books, or lab books on pdf?
I have old books, including lab books.

My place is still open for labs.

I have access to the new netacademy curriculum although not in a distributable format. Noone has seemed to figure out how to rip the website yet. I make copies of the labs if you are interested.
