Ashwin,

Great we have had one meeting so far and did not get the details all worked out. We were suppose to have a meeting yesterday and it was totally my fault as I over slept and got to the meeting late and any one who had made it to the meeting must have left. No one was there by the time I got there. I work nights 12 hour shifts. This was the first time I was late but it was an important meeting. The Initial meeting. We will try again and I hope everyone can make it. The new initial meeting will take place at the Pancakehouse and Grill. It is located on 14th street and Plano across the street from Blockbuster. The URL has a map and the phone number and Menu. The resturant does not charge for the meeting room it is a working resturnt and we do encourage patronage. Since we are taking up space.

The book you have is fine I had a great idea that if we all got one extra study book and coordinated with each other which ones we could all exchange PDF's and increase our virtual libraries and source material greatly. But that is part of the discussion we all need to be part of.

We will meet at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 14th. I will not be late I promise I apoligise for being late last week. I work Fri-Sat night but not Sat-Sun this week. Look forward to seeing everyone out there.

Thanks,

John~

John/Olaf,

I got your contact information from Tom Young at DFWCUG.
I work as a QA Network Engineer at EMC Corporation. I am interested in pursuing my CCNP and learnt that you guys are part of a study group. I have not been in a study group before hence would like to know more about it.

a) How often do you guys meet ?

b) I have got the CCNP BSCI Official exam certification guide. Do you guys follow any other books for the meeting ?

c) I understand that each one must participate in the meeting. Is it something like each one should read a chapter or two (make notes) and then come to the meeting and present the same.

I would love to attend one of your meetings to get a feel for a study group. Please let me know if it is fine so that I can meet you guys in your next meeting.

Thanks,
Ashwin
