We just put this version onto sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/cclite/ including a preliminary Redhat RPM.
The main change, this time, has been an upgrade and expansion of the SMS subsystem to work well with Gammu: https://sourceforge.net/projects/gammu/ This frees it, somewhat, from commercial SMS gateway suppliers. Of course it still needs a phone or GSM dongle for the interface.
We've kept it to SMS because everyone has that, and, there are encrypted SMS facilities coming too.
