4th of July Celebration: Southern Oregonians for a Healthy Climate

It Feels Good to be Part of a Cause

Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) will join other climate change groups in the area as we walk together in the July 4th Parade. 

We will also have a booth at Lithia Park (near entrance) to provide information about CCL and encourage people to write a letter to their congressmen.

July 4th Parade

Southern Oregonians for a Healthy Climate will line up for the parade between 9:00 at 9:30 am. To find us, go to the corner of Siskiyou and Liberty in Ashland and start walking up the hill on Liberty. 

The first entries leave the staging area around 10 am. Our departure time depends on how we are from the corner of Siskiyou and Liberty (we’ll try to be close).

The parade covers a distance of less than one mile.

Consistent with the requests of the organizers to not leave a trace, we will not hand out papers or candy.
