Our CCL Action for this month is writing letters --- to members of congress and letters to the editor. Two successes so far:

Ken Deveney - http://www.dailytidings.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20140201/OPINION04/402010301

Attached are 3 documents which might help:

1.   A list of addresses and phones and emails for members of Congress, the White House and our 3 local papers

2.   A document from CCL about a tutorial on getting letters published. You can also follow the link to listen to the actual recording of the event.

Many of us also benefited from a great letter writing workshop this month by Alan Journet and Kathy Conway. Thank you SOCAN!

If you submit a letter to any newspaper (even if it does not get published) or send a member of congress a letter, PLEASE notify Susan Bizeau who submits our monthly Field Reports to CCL the Wednesday before the end of the month. Email her at sbi...@q.com

3.   February Action Sheet and link to a recording of the February call if you missed it.

NEXT NATIONAL CALL AND MEETING:

March 1, 9:45  a.m. PST at the Sohl's house in Ashland.
Eli Lehrer, R Street Institute

Eli Lehrer is president and co-founder of the R Street Institute, a free-market think tank based in Washington, D.C. On our March call, Lehrer will discuss the no-nonsense view of climate change held by the insurance and re-insurance industry, which has the most to lose for getting it wrong.
