It’s time to Love Your Climate at the 2019 Rogue Valley Climate Bash!!
Join us for an evening of climate action fun!
Friday February 15th, 7pm at the Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St.
https://www.facebook.com/events/1980003935410909/
At the first Climate Bash in 2017 we gathered to motivate and inspire local Rogue Valley residents to take climate action locally, across Oregon, and in D.C. Since then, the Rogue Valley has been on the move to secure a safe climate!
the Cities of Ashland and Talent have passed and started to implement climate and energy Action Plans,
the City of Medford is looking at what climate impacts it can expect in the near- and long-term future
Local schools are teaching courses focusing on climate change
Youth climate groups are advocating for aggressive action to bring our emissions down
Efforts to transform our energy system led by local citizen groups are underway
It’s time to once again come together – businesses, organizations, citizens, and local government – to share what is being done and reignite the fire for even greater action at all levels - and we are going to have a fun time doing it!
This year, we will once again have wine and beer, refreshments, a short program celebrating all good things climate, and local organizations available to help you take action. Then, we are going to push the tables back, dim the lights, and dance to the music of Alice DiMicele’s band Petty Thievery!
We hope to see you at the Bash!
