Team Leads & All-Stars,

Our next planned chapter meeting needs to change date or venue (or both). Josh and I would like your thoughts on our options.

South Berkeley Senior Center will not be available on May 18th because of the Malcom X holiday, and it won’t be available on Monday the 25th because of the Memorial Day holiday. We could
- meet on May 11th at the SBSC
- meet on May 18th at a different venue that someone finds and sets up for us
- meet on Tuesday May 19th at the SBSC
- meet at my house on Sunday the 17th at 4pm for a potluck celebration version of a chapter meeting

Fwiw, I see the primary focus of our May meeting as celebrating our Earth Month successes.

LMK your thoughts. Josh and I will make a call by Monday.

Ted (& Josh)

Hi Ted,

All of those work for me, although the 19th would be awkward since I have another event that afternoon. My top vote is for the 11th.

Best, Susan

I could do May 11 or 19. I don't think changing the venue is a good idea - too much communications needed and possibility for confusion. I like the idea of a potluck meeting but 5/17 doesn't work for me.

Thanks
Trish

Ironically, May 19 is Malcolm X’s actual birthday. I will be at the city council that night for the approval of the update of Berkeley’s Bicycle Plan.

Hi all,

May 11 requires me to crank out a Newsletter a week early. I have about half of it now, but still need a blurb about the electrification fair and Jasmine's "Climate Innovation Spotlight" column. And maybe more pictures.

The new deadline would be May 3.

Or we could send a much shorter email out, announcing the reschedule.

Best,

All,

After some deliberation, let’s go with Tuesday the 19th for the chapter meeting. That way if people show up on Monday the 18th, they can come back on the 19th. And it keeps us at a monthly cadence. And it allows time for the full newsletter production.

See you then!

Ted
