We have two new volunteers who have filled out the ’skills & interests’ form. If you’d like to engage them in your group, go for it!

Sheila Fish: 

Interests: Building Electrification, Events, Lobbying, Print Media (e.g. writing letters to the editor)

Skills: I have coordinated big events - Contra Costa Earth Day that ended up with 2,000 attending our event at the Concord Pavilion. I started Contra Costa Earth Dy in 1990.  I started EarthTeam in 2,000 ( a program I coordinated until we had a paid coordinator.)  I started Contra Costa MoveOn in approximately 2010 and it still exists..  

Althea White:

Interests: Events, Newsletter & Social Media, Print Media (e.g. writing letters to the editor), Tabling

Skills: Writing, social media, infographic and poster design, and event organization

I found CCL on Idealist and decided to come to a meeting because I am passionate about climate mitigation and want to join a network of like-minded people.
