Hey Guys ,
I watched this movie titled- 'Shawshank Redemption' released back in 1994. The movie beautifully depicts story of a prison and its inmates. I was amazed to see the way movie proceeds showing emotions of inmates, their life stories, issue they face while being trapped, how they utilize their skills and knowledge inside prison, how administrators used a prisoner to materialize their money laundering activities, rampant corruption which remains uncovered in such closed settings etc. Of all it shows what imprisonment does to a man in the name of rehabilitation and makes it challenging for them to mingle with society again. If you have watched it then I am sure you must have liked it.

I wonder if anyone has seen it before then why didn't they mentioned it during screenings in class.

Do watch and let me know if you liked it :)

Enjoy!

Hey Khushboo!

I loved Shawshank Redemption too! It's an epic movie! It's one of my favorites actually.
It was mentioned in one of our CCJ classes and we did plan on watching it along with a whole bunch of other flicks under the crime genre but I guess we didn't have enough time on our hands.

Another one, you should keep an eye out for is 12 Angry Men. I think there's a Bollywood version but I suggest you stick to the original...there's nothing like it. If I come across any more that I think you may like, I'll let you know.

Cheers!

Salomi
