You can find a new version of MPLS slides that contains the explanation text of the textbook.

This is because you do not have this chapter in version 8. So, you can read the notes just below the slides, which is the same text as in the textbook.
Regarding the final exam: Chapters included are: ATM, Ethernet, MPLS + Cellular Networks.
