Mid-Exam 02 will be open book which means textbook and slides are authorized.
Any other document is NOT authorized.
However, you are free not to use the textbook and slides if you do not want.
Anyway, I advice the students to make a deep revision and do not rely a lot of slides and textbook because you may loose time if you spend time searching for information.
Textbook and slides can be used in some cases if you forget one information or want to double check some information.
