information about quiz and project02

Salam wa rahmatou Allah

We receive questions from students about Quiz 01, Quiz 02 and Project 02. I will provide answers in this email.

For Quiz 1, as I said before, it will be counted as a bonus. As the average was around 4 out of 10, we will make a small curve so that the average of each section will be 5. The resulting grade will be considered as a Bonus for the student. Students with large number of absences or that did not attend labs might be prevented from the Bonus. The Bonus will be counted at the end with the final grade.

For Quiz 2, this will be the substitute of Quiz 1 and will be counted in the grading. It is out of 10 points as indicated in the website. Topics are: Discrete Event Simulation, Random Number Generator, Output Analysis and Discrete Markov Chain. The duration of the Quiz will be 40 minutes Incha'Allah.

For Project 02, it will be around Random Number Generators. We will send you the project tomorrow Incha'Allah and we will give you around 10 days to make it. The final exam will be related to the project 02 as usual. Any tentative of cheating will be severely penelized and all the group will be prevented from the Bonus.

The final exam will cover mainly all chapters starting from Simulation and Modeling until Queueing Theory.
