Salam wa rahmatou Allah

I have some recommendations to give to students:

1- Do not be so stressed. This helps revising well and understanding things better.
2- Try to make one of the previous final exam in similar conditions of the exam. This is a good practice, not only technical but also psychological.
3- In the exam, read well the questions. Do not try to finish all the exam (although it is feasible to all students) but try to respond correctly to questions.
4- if a question takes you a lot of time (although it shoud not) you can try the next one because some questions are not related.
5- Do not make excessive use of Slides in the exam because this will waste your time.
6- Make your answer sheet clean and clear. Messy sheets will make grading in their favor difficult.

The final exam will NOT contain multiple choice questions.

Included topics are: Discrete Time Markov Chains, Random Number Generators, Queueing Systems MM1 and MMm, Simulation and Output Analysis.

You are allowed to bring (1) Slides, (2) your own summary. Other documents are not allowed. A calculator will be needed.

I hope this will help you to prepare well to the final. Nothing is difficult if you make things easy in your mind.

Best regards
Dr. Anis
