Do you have suggestions for faith-based Mental Health Resources

Hi All,

I hope you are well. I know many of you joined the CCIH Member Forum on Mental Health and how Christians are responding last week. During that forum our two discussants shared some helpful resources on addressing staff mental health and on stigma related to mental health. I've posted those below. 

I'm curious if you have other suggestions of resources, especially for a faith-based context, to address staff burnout and exposure to trauma; or another mental health concern, such as stigma or any other ideas. • The well-being guide: reduce stress, recharge and build inner resilience is for individual self-care, and for peers and teams who work together, produced by IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent). The exercises in this guide are for all humanitarian staff, volunteers and for recipients of mental health and psychosocial support services .Available online in various languages.  
• Effectiveness of Social Skills Training for reduction of self-perceived Stigma in Leprosy is the paper referenced by Valsa during the forum.  Although written with leprosy in mind, the same factors of stigma are applicable across health issues.
  
• Guide 2: How to Reduce the Impact of Stigma was produced and published by the International Federation of Anti-Leprosy Associations (ILEP). The guide presents various ways to reduce the impact of stigma, discrimination and prejudice on individuals. 
  
• Guide 4: Counseling to Reduce Stigma  provides evidence-based and best-practice information from different disciplines, and recommendations for field workers on the use of counselling at a basic level in dealing with stigma.
