Presents Training for Global Health and Disaster Response: Registration Now Open for 2 Online Courses Global Health & Tropical Medicine Overview Course Description: Designed to help healthcare professionals and students prepare for international service and the globalization of healthcare, this course provides an overview of tropical diseases in a case-based format and highlights the application of global health guidelines. Course Dates: Course sessions are scheduled every Tuesday and one Saturday a month from March 2 to May 22, 2021. For details please see www.healthservicecorps.org/training/. Course Location: This course is offered online from Christian Health Service Corps. Course Fees: $500 for the entire course or $15/hour for each session. CME and CEU are included in course fees. Continuing Education: CME - This Live activity, Global Health and Tropical Medicine Overview, with a beginning date of 03/02/2021, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 35.50 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. CEU - CEU provided by Texas Woman's University College of Nursing - T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences - Dallas Center, 5500 Southwestern Medical Avenue, Dallas, TX 75235. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 16383, for up to 35.50 CEU. Disaster & Refugee Response: Global Principles & Practice Course Description: Designed for everyone interested in humanitarian crisis response, this training empowers participants to put principles into practice, engage with coordinated relief efforts, minister to affected populations, and maintain resilience.  Course Dates: Course sessions are scheduled on evenings and Saturdays from March 5 to 13, 2021. For details please see www.healthservicecorps.org/training/. Course Location: This course is offered online from Christian Health Service Corps. Course Fees: $300. CME and CEU are included in course fees.
