Introduction to Disaster and Refugee Response: Sphere International Standards

Course Description:
Prepare to effectively engage in global response efforts by putting principles into practice. Open to anyone, this course highlights life-saving and dignity-upholding measures
developed by the international response community and outlined in the Sphere Handbook: Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response.
Interactive sessions contextualize universal minimum standards, key actions and indicators and cover four core technical areas: water supply, sanitation and hygiene promotion; food security and nutrition; shelter, settlement and non-food items; and health
action.
