Apologies for Cross Posting

I would like to share an urgent refugee situation in DRC as people flee the unrest in Burundi. CCIH member the Free Methodist Church in DRC is caring for the medical needs of some of these refugees. According to Dr. Eoba Samy, Medical Coordinator of the Free Methodist Church:

"Following the situation of insecurity in Burundi we have received a large number of refugees in the eastern part of the DRC, precisely in the province of South Kivu in the Fizi territory. According to UNHCR statistics, more than 13,000 families are already enrolled in the camp. These refugees are taken care of by our medical hospital in Nundu and the Lweba Health Center. We seek support in medicine for the refugees. Thank you."

They also have an urgent need for clean water. I have attached a list of needed medicines and supplies (in French) and a photo of refugees. If you or your organization is able to assist, please contact Dr. Samy (in English or French) at lesa...@yahoo.fr

Thank you,

Kathy
