Hi All,

Apologies if you have already seen, but I wanted to make sure to pass along the Final 2023 COP/ROP Guidance and Technical Considerations that was released by PEPFAR earlier today.

If there are any questions or additional information would be helpful, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Thanks!

Subject: Final 2023 COP/ROP Guidance and FY 2024 Technical Considerations
To:

Dear PEPFAR Family,

On behalf of Ambassador Nkengasong and the 2023 COP/ROP Guidance Editorial Board, we are pleased to share with you the final 2023 COP/ROP Guidance and FY24 Technical Considerations. The guidance, aligned to the new PEPFAR strategy, has been shortened as we aimed to make it easier to read and more useful to PEPFAR teams preparing for the first COP/ROP in the new PEPFAR 5x3 Strategy.  The Technical Considerations have been updated only where necessary and are posted as an annex to the Guidance.  We invite you to read the whole Guidance and take note of what is new in the Technical Considerations.

Thanks to everyone who supported the development of these documents this year. Countless collective hours of work went into shaping these documents as over 50 writers/POCs contributed writing, editing, reading, re-reading, addressing DP comments, and addressing public comments. we’d especially like to thank the 2023 Editorial Board for their tireless work and effort to coordinate and shape the COP/ROP Guidance and the FY2024 Technical Considerations, and to Dr. Lourdes Norman-McKay who served as Editor-in-chief and led the complex work that brought the documents to completion over many months.

Thank you for reading and thank you for your commitment to the people and communities who PEPFAR serves.
