Please see this very important article in Christianity Today, Pro-Life Dispute Leaves Program for HIV/AIDS Patients in Peril. The writer interviewed CCIH Executive Director Doug Fountain, CCIH member Perry Jansen of African Mission Healthcare, and Shepherd Smith, as well as others in the faith community about PEPFAR and the current rumors that it funds abortions. The article raises the very stark possibility that a program that has saved millions of lives and turned around entire nations is currently threatened due to politics and rumors.
