TIME LIMIT FOR ASSESSMENT UNDER TNGST

Greetings,

Whether there is any time limit for origianl assessment under TNGST Act?

It appears that there exists no time limit under the Act for original assessment, in such case whether authorities are bound to pass orders within reasonable time limit (if any)? Any citation /decisions in support of the time limit by which assessment order has to be passed?
