Dear friends

Greetings!

may i take your help.
\
PLEASE CLARIFY ON THE FOLLOWING:

FOR THE PURPOSE CLAIMING INPUT CREDIT,  WHETHER  THE INVOICE SENT BY THE MOBILE TELEPHONE COMPANY ( SUCH AS AIRCEL / AIRTEL ETC.) THROUGH EMAIL WITH THE ATTACHMENT OF THE INVOICE  IS SUFFICIENT ( IN TODAY'S CONTEXT OF TECHNOLOGY AND " GO GREEN") OR THE POSSESSION OF ORIGINAL INVOICE IS A MUST.
IF U COULD SUBSTANTIATE YOUR REPLY EVIDENCING CIRCULARS/ NOTIFICATIONS/ RULES ETC.

ADVANCE THANKS FOR YOUR GUIDANCE AND ASSISTANCE
WITH WARM REGARDS

Sir

I my view Invoice sent by Email by the telcom company, is enough to claim cenvat credit.

Though the law says credit is allowed based on Original Invoice.

It is a call need to be based on cenvat credit, I would suggest a physical copy of bill for leased line where  credit is huge which is common in IT/ITES company.

Regards
Ganesh Prabhu
