CCIDPIP Doodle to select dates for the C-I Accreditation Workshop

Hope all is well and wish everyone a smooth winding down of the semester and a happy holiday season!

Based on responses, the workshop in January will focus upon:

• Re-accreditation process (emphasis/focus on C/I doctoral programs)
• Suggestions/recommendations on selecting and working with site reviewers
• Future of C-I training
• How to organize a site visit to help reviewers understand C-I training
• Opportunities for Q & A
  

86.7% of respondents requested CE for attending the workshop, so we will work to make that happen.

Now to finalize this workshop we need to select a specific day/time. I selected dates/times based on responses I got through  the Google Form. Hope everyone is well and I want to wish all of you a peaceful end to the academic semester and a wonderful holiday season!

Two parts to this email:

1)  Doodle Poll for Accreditation Workshop

We have unfortunately gotten 2 responses to the poll I sent out regarding the workshop. I am hoping we can demonstrate some more interest and get a clearer indication of when best to schedule the workshop. If you have not had the opportunity to vote on workshop dates/times please do so within the next few days so that we can finalize a date/time. Our speaker is flexible but it would be nice to get moving on this. I know everyone is busy but I am hoping everyone interested can complete the poll by the end of this weekend.

2)  Brief CCTC Service Opportunity

Last year I attended CCTC with the theme being Social Responsiveness in Health Service Psychology Education and Training, and was part of a working group that put together some materials to promote inclusivity within training programs.

 

The group is looking for a training program within our Combined-Integrated group that can help with disseminating a toolkit that was put together last year and collect information about its real-world relevance.

 

CCTC is asking me to identify a representative from a training program within CCIDPIP that would:

(1)   Read the section on Community Engagement of HSP training programs (8 pages)

(2)   Answer a brief questionnaire about that section (7 questions).

Please let me know if you would be willing to represent our group and complete this brief commitment with CCTC.
