3) CCTC Social Responsiveness working groups
See below for details regarding two working groups pertaining to social responsiveness/DEI work within professional psychology. Contact information, deadlines to apply and additional details are contained below:
We are still in need of members for both the Advisory Group and respective Steering Committees related to the CCTC Social Responsiveness in Health Service Psychology Education and Training Toolkit Implementation Task Force. We believe the toolkit created from the CCTC Social Responsiveness Conference is a wonderful resource with the potential to really make a meaningful impact in our field. Our next action is to ensure this truly becomes a widespread resource and living document.
As a reminder, the new toolkit can be found by:
To that end we are recruiting for two different groups:
This group will be composed of 11 individuals (9 Point of Contacts + chair and vice chair of CCTC). It is preferable for these individuals to have participated in the development of the toolkit through the CCTC conference. Each point of contact will be in charge of a separate steering committee focused on furthering the implementation of their designated area. The advisory group will meet quarterly through virtual conference for informative and collaboration purposes.
There are 9 areas of emphasis but the following are the positions still open:
· Revisiting our program structures with increased shared governance
· Decolonizing and transforming curriculum across all levels of training
· Research/scholarship
· Socially responsive ethics and professionalism
· Socially responsive evaluation processes for students, faculty, and supervisors
These committees will be led by the Advisory Group Member for each respective area. We are hoping to have at least 5 members for each subcommittee. The purpose of each of these committees will be to distribute and expand the resources within their designated area. The plan is to recruit widely for these work-groups. As such, interested participants do NOT need to have participated in the initial CCTC conference to self-nominate. The frequency of meetings will be determined by each steering committee as a whole once formed but is not expected to meet more than once a month unless otherwise indicated.
· Diversifying the HSP pipeline

For your self-nomination, please:
Deadline is December 31st (but we will be reviewing applications/offering positions on a rolling basis).
We hope to have our first Advisory Group Meeting in January 2022 with the Steering Groups starting shortly after that.
If you’re feeling passionate about the importance of diversity, inclusion, and social responsiveness we strongly encourage you to consider self-nominating for one of these groups.
