Ok, I was trying to use the
http://api.creativecommons.org/rest/dev/simple/chooser drop down, but
it lacks the sampling licenses and all available licenses are 2.5

I may end up going back to an updated hardcoded (that includes pd)
version for now and think on the best way to support all licenses in a
better way later. Maybe a giant dropdown with all versions, what could
be confusing or a "none of this" option at the end of the dropdown
that would present more options to choose.

Different from websites where you are the copyright owner and are
uploading the file, here we are just linking a track that already has
a license, and it could be a version other than 2.5, and even the
redundant licenses like "Music Sharing" I think should be listed on
the dropdown to make the recognition easier for the submitter.

Does this make sense?

Attached is a screenshot of one possible solution for that problem...
the link would change the dropdown options.
