Hi all,
I want to let you all know that I have been extremely honored to work with all of you during our 3 CrisisCamps for Haiti - it's been wonderful.
I think that at this time, however, it is a good idea for me to face geographic reality (I live in Santa Barbara) and turn over the organizer role to someone else or a group of people. I am organizing a CC in Santa Barbara on Feb 20 (you're all invited of course! here's the link http://crisiscampsb1.eventbrite.com/ ) and I think moving forward I am going to focus on CrisisCamp in SB. Especially in a time of crisis, it makes more sense for me to help organize locally and let you all organize in LA. I of course plan to stay a member of the LA chapter and can come to Camps in between crisis events.
If anyone would like to step up to be an organizer, please just let us all know and I'll be happy to assist in any way I can. Thank you again for all of your hard work and for really making LA one of the core Crisis Camp cities!
