Hi all,

I'm not sure if anyone has officially stepped up to take the LA camp over from me, but right now Crisis Commons is really in full swing in support of the oil spill and hopefully more for the flooding in Tenn, and I think that it would be great if SoCal could do a camp to help. I have space up here in Santa Barbara at UCSB, but I know that's really far. I'm on Skype (chadcat) and we should still have the Skype room up if anyone wants to chat about this will me.

Thanks,
Chad

Hi all, I hope folks might some ideas on a venue.

As it's finals and commencement time for most universities (such as
USC) I'm disappointed we cannot host anything anytime soon, but do
encourage folks to look around and see.

Chad, could you fill us in on some major initiatives going on right
now w.r.t. these two events?

Thanks Andrew,

So right now the focus has been on the spill, but honestly, from my perspective, from a humanitarian point of view, people are dying and without homes due to the floods, so I'd like to see something happen there. Here is the wiki page for the spill
