2. Cambridge Carbon Footprint at the International Women's Day
Celebration.

"Women and climate change - who holds the future?

Surveys consistently show that women are more concerned than men about
climate change and other environmental issues. Is this because women
have a special bond with nature? Are more concerned than men about
what will happen to children and the next generation? Or are we just
suckers for cleaning up after the blokes?

Come and discuss these issues in a lunch-time workshop with Rosemary
Randall, Director of local voluntary organisation Cambridge Carbon
Footprint.
Friday 14th March 1 - 2pm at the Guildhall, Balcony/Council Chamber.
Free entry and refreshments. Introduced by the Mayor.
