Assistance in updating dependency in CCextractor

Good morning, 

     Hope this mail finds you well, I am currently working on updating a dependency in CCEXTRACTOR. The files of that dependency are in the core code of CCextractor, and I am not able to access complete code by cloning the repository. Also, when I downloaded the source code of the application then I will end up creating a my local version of CCEXTRACTOR and will not be able to merge the changes in the main repository.

     So, is there any way I will be able to commit my changes made to the core code files.
