September 8th, has been declared a Climate Emergency Day of Action by 350.org. There will be events across the globe. In Canada we will be focusing attention on the Climate Emergency on the day before the official English leaders debate Sept. 9th. The stakes are high in this election. The government we elect now could lead us through 4 of the 9 remaining years that the world’s best scientists have given us to avoid the worst impacts of the climate catastrophe.
An event is planned in Halifax: Wed. Sept. 8th at 3:00 PM at the CBC Building, 7067 Chebucto St.
Many of us will want to be there with masks, signs, friends and neighbours - to get the leaders' attention to ACT!

Each day in September, KAIROS will share information on a topic related to climate change, with the goal of motivating and inspiring a daily practice of taking action for the climate.
